Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen sent a letter to season ticket holders (presumably with the bill for the mythical 10 games to happen at Invesco Field this fall), apologizing for the lockout and assuring fans the team will be ready to play come August, assuming a new collective bargaining agreement is reached.

Sex assault trial for Broncos’s Cox begins Wednesday

Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox will go to trial on felony sexual assault charges this Wednesday in Douglas County south of Denver. If found guilty, Cox could face as little as two years in prison or as much as a life sentence.
