Five Broncos make Pro Bowl roster

Of course, around here, we’re all hoping the Broncos will be too busy packing for New Orleans to worry about actually landing in Honolulu  at the end of January, but the honors are in nonetheless and 5 Broncos made the AFC roster. Leading the way is top vote-getter Peyton Manning, in this his 12th season being selected to the Pro Bowl. Cornerback Champ Bailey also garners his 12th selection, while sophomore sensation Von Miller rides his franchise record-setting season to his second Pro Bowl in as many pro seasons. Defensive end Elvis Dumervil and offensive lineman Ryan Clady each made their third pro bowl team. Manning, Bailey, and Miller were voted in as starters. Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas is a first-alternate for the game. Guards Chris Kuper (2nd) and Zane Beadles (3rd), wide receiver Eric Decker (5th) and special teamers David Bruton (3rd) and Britton Colquitt (3rd) are also alternates.

The selections add to an impressive year for the entire Broncos squad, who enter the final week of the regular season on a 10-game winning streak.
