Cleaning House

Everytime I sit down to pump out some Rockies content (don’t look now, but 0-7 became 6-7 just like that), there’s more girly-football-drama. The “conference call” didn’t go so well, now Jay Cutler has put his 2 million dollar Parker house up for sale. Does that sound like a guy who expects to be the QB of the future? On the bright side, maybe he can get a great deal in the floundering real estate market of Detroit.

I’m physically ill at the thought of Chris Simms as the starting QB, although Eddie Royal as #1 receiver isn’t too bad of a thing.

So I changed the site banner again – switched Matty out for Tulo, for obvious reasons. Switched Melo out for Chauncey, because it is clear who the heart and soul of this Nuggets team is. Left Super Joe on, and I will not take him down until he retires for real. Engaged in a bit of pre-emptive passive-aggression by sticking Champ up there in place of Cutler.

I have the seeds of a site redesign beginning to grow in my head… look for that sometime in the next several weeks, barring an unexpected increase in workload. I’m also thinking of adding a podcast – quick reader poll. I know none of you comment, but my stats tell me that we get some visitors, if not a huge amount. Would any of you be even remotely interested in a ProSportsColorado.com podcast?

I love the redesigned banner. Especially because Tulo is going to have a break-out season this summer. If we can get some contributions from Chris Iannetta and the underwhelming Cliff Barmes, the Rocks might just challenge for the division.

The Cutler-McDaniels whinefest is getting out of control. I’m beginning to think… well… screw Baby Jay if he can’t act like a grown man. We’ll see how he enjoys Detroit. My crystal ball shows Jay becoming violently reacquainted with Jared Allen again and again and again and… basically until the Lions can find a passable set of guards (2018).
